Walking ...

Amy Jo Garner's "The Walking Vegetarian" available at Lulu.comIf, like me, you're concerned about maintaining a healthy lifestyle (or that plus getting there in the first place), then Amy Jo Garner's ebook The Walking Vegetarian is a genuinely nice start to the process—whether beginning, middle, or end game. And we shouldn't forget that it is a process. For some of us, alas, it's a lot longer process than most.

The book (very reasonably priced at $4.95) is a PDF download in an easy-to-read format. It shows up fine in my Sony® Digital Reader (although Sony still needs to work on its PDF rendering).

The author is a committed Christian, an erstwhile transplant from South Carolina to the hinterlands of Oklahoma, and a refreshingly lucid writer. Also, if you're inclined to follow her writings on simple living and social justice, as I am, then you can do that at her Bohemian Reflections.
